One Mic, a first of its kind live artiste showcase, has announced the list of Performers for its August edition. With a line up featuring the best in upcoming rock, rap, and r n b artistes, this edition of One Mic promises to be fun, live and eclectic.

PRAIZ is this edition's headliner; With credits on M.I and Bez's album, Praiz is heading to be the next big thing in R n B. OB, another R&B artiste with a soothing voice, Knighthouse's Rap General Phenom, Symun, Yoye and Naija's rock divette CON.tra.diction will all put their musical magic into making the night a success.

One Mic Naija is hosted by Kel and Kunle KB Bello, who are not just prolific rappers, but hot hosts who love to interact with the audience. the August edition of One Mic holds Sunday August 28th, and venue support comes from the delightful Browns' Cafe at Oduduwa Crescent including support from varying media houses.One Mic Naija is brought to you by WEPLUGGOODMUSIC, in conjunction with Ground Zero Management, M.et.al  and s.h.a.r.e, and supported by Tobbinator @ TCD Concepts

KEL, BACK WITH THREE NEW SINGLES

Moving on from the long standing feud with former label Capital Hill Records, rapper Kel "Kelechi Ohia" dropped three new singles withing a month to relaunch her career which seemed to be on hold for a bit

The first single she dropped was Shayo and Move which was soon followed by Super Woman featuring Lami. This week she continued her hot streak by releasing a song titled Mu Kulu featuring Tupengo.

Kel seems to have re-emerged on the scene which is currently enjoying an influx of new sounds from female rappers such as Eva and Muna who are unarguably crowd favourite these days. Indication of the changing times can be seen in the public’s response to Kel’s new songs. The songs haven’t hit the spot although it takes quite some time before a song becomes a hit. The burning issue is whether she has enough time on her side as the new babes on the block are getting more fans daily.

During her mini-hiatus Kel’s brand and personality still held forte, earning her a place as brand ambassador for a Hair Care Company alongside other strong entertainment females. Within this period she also finished her studies at Lagos State University.
