The stronghold of the security measure in Lagos state is becoming questionable these days. Residents in the metropolis are beginning to ponder on the reason for depreciation in efficiency. Attack on entertainment celebrities by different groups of armed men has fundamentally raised the alarm for the need to beef up security of lives and properties within the state and nation at large. Most recently is the robbery incident on notable Nigerian music producer Frenzy, who is known to have produced award winning joints like “U go wound o” by ill bliss featuring Kel & Suspect, “Break it” by P-Square featuring Frenzy, “Too much” by DJ Jimmy Jatt featuring Sasha, Blaise, Kemistry and Bouqui, “If I die” by the late Dagrin to mention but a few.
After parting ways with his management team Photon Solutions at the end of a business meeting held in Victoria Island at 8:45pm on Sunday, June 26, 2011; Frenzy was victimized by a group of armed robbers who took advantage of the obstruction he had as a result of a flat tyre; which occurred while driving on Ojota over-head bridge linking to former toll gate. These men of the underworld robbed him of his cash, technological gadgets and valuables, leaving him to lick his wounds.
Despite severe injury sustained by Frenzy from the horrible robbery attack, his mind is made up never to compromise commitment, focus and determination towards making his forthcoming debut album a success. Furtherance to this, a smash hit-single titled “Higher Everyday” featuring Nasty J is scheduled to rock the air-waves before the end of the month of July for promotion purpose. According to music critics, the single, “Higher Everyday” is an original representation of hip hop and also a symbolic leverage that creates an innovative niche for Frenzy in the music industry as a hip hop act. All works are in progress effectively by his management, Photon Solutions towards ensuring successful actualization of blue print.
