The history of video making in the new age Nigerian music industry will not be complete with the absence of the name AK ONE. The seasoned video director who has successfully carved a niche for himself with strings of top-notch videos and TV commercials has been absent from the scene for a long while. Well, the absence wasn’t cos he went idle, the young man was actually shooting an international TV series, working on a rebrand for his music video and himself personally, and putting together his label. Now that he has gotten it all together, it’s time to resume work. Hence, we introduce ALEJO.
ALEJO, born Celestine Adeeko, is the first artiste on AK ONE’s record label ONE DREAM PROJEKT. ALEJO is a songwriter, producer and instrumentalist who grew up listening to the likes of Ebenezer Obey and Segun Adewale. He is a former band member of TOSYN BUCKNOR’s CON.TRA.DICTION and together with singer HAKYM he co-produced several hit songs for the likes of Kel, Iyanya, Jafextra, Slim T and Hakym himself.
AK ONE just released the video for ALEJO's first single LET ME HOLD YOU. Different kind of song, exciting set for a video. His dream at ONE DREAM believe this is definitely something that’ll be fresh and distinct for a long long time.
