"All sorts of trouble" is a short story of a boy’s search for redemption. Written and Directed by Imoh Umoren, the film chronicles the trials of lead character Isaac, a budding soccer player who’s dreams of playing for the National team is being threatened by the corrupt coach’s requirement of a bribe to be included in the squad. He gets unlikely help from his shady neighbour Alaye who while genuinely trying to help Isaac plunges both of them into All Sorts of Trouble.
Imoh Umoren is the enigmatic TV Producer/Director behind the piece; and probably the most in-demand creative person in Nigeria having worked on numerous reality shows, documentaries and commercials. His first feature film LEMON GREEN was critically acclaimed and garnered a plethora of mentions, nominations and awards in 2009 including 12 in Terra Cotta TV and Fil Awards, 1 at the Zuma Film Festival and TAVA Awards each.
