Storm Records is the latest Nigerian record label to partner with an American recording label. Not wanting to be outdone by Mo’ Hits whose premier artiste D’Banj and producer Don Jazzy were sighed by Kanye West a few weeks ago, the CEO of Storm Records Obi Asika struck a partnership deal with the CEO of Next Selection Lifestyle Group, Ryan Leslie.
Ryan Leslie became a household name in America in 2005 when he produced pop singer Cassie’s biggest hits till date “Me and You” and “Long Way To Go”. Since then he has gone on to produce other hit tracks for many artistes in America.
The details of the deal haven’t been revealed yet but it seems that the maverick producer will be obviously working with some of Storm’s finest talents such as Naeto C, Pype and Sasha.
